Six Months Intensive Course on Tibetan Language and Buddhist Philosophy 2025

Department of Religion and Culture (DoRC), CTA invites application from college graduated Tibetan students and Tibetan youths engaging in various walks of life to participate in 12th Six Months Intensive Course on Tibetan Language and Buddhist Philosophy. This program is organized by DoRC in collaboration with School of Snowland Tibetan Studies, Gyudmed Monastery based in Hunsur. A. Required Documents:

  1. Copy of degree certificate or Mark Sheet
  2. Updated copy of Tibetan green book
  3. Latest passport-size photo

Please note: All above copies must be attested either by a CTA officer (Joint Secretary and above) / Tibetan Settlement Officer or College principal.

 

B. Facilities:

  1. Travel and Daily Allowance (TA/DA)
  2. Accommodation and food
  3. Monthly pocket money

 

C. Course Duration:

  1. Six Months (July 1 to December 31, 2025)

 

D. Program details:

  • Tibetan language and literature, Buddhist philosophy, dialectics and Meditation
  • Educational trip to Mysore and Bylakuppe Tibetan settlement
  • Oral and written test will be conducted after the course
  • Diploma certificate will be issued upon clearing the exam
