Secretaries from Central Tibetan Administration Attend Tong-Len School’s Launch of Hindi Dialectic Book

 

Dharamshala: Cabinet Secretary Tsegyal Chukya Dranyi and Secretary of the Department of Religion and Culture Dhondul Dorjee from Central Tibetan Administration attended the launch of Hindi dialectic book Yukti Marg, organised by Tong-Len School at the Dhauladhar Heights Resort in Dharamshala on 1 December 2025. The event was graced by the presence of the chief guest, Shri Rohit Thakur, Education Minister of Himachal Pradesh, and the special guest, Chhime Rigzin, Secretary of the Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

The book launch ceremony, held in honour of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s fourth principal commitment—to foster greater awareness and interest among young Indians in the value of ancient Indian knowledge—was also attended by Geshe Samten Gyatso, President of the Institute of Buddhist Dialectics, and Passang Tsering, Principal of the College for Higher Tibetan Studies, Sarah, among other distinguished guests.

The gathering commenced with welcome remarks from the school’s Director, Jamyang. Sonam Dorjee, the translator of the book into Hindi, provided a brief overview of Yukti Marg, followed by its official launch. The students then presented a dialectical disputation in Hindi before the audience.

Continuing the programme, Secretary Jamphel Lhundup from the Dalai Lama Trust spoke about the significance of the book and highlighted the 16 years of support extended by the Dalai Lama Trust to Tong-Len School.

After a keynote address by the chief guest, the ceremony was successfully concluded.
