Leh, Ladakh: Secretary Dhondul Dorjee of the Department of Religion and Culture, Central Tibetan Administration, attended the consecration ceremony of the Shenten Youngdrung Lhatse Bon Monastery in Ladakh that was presided over by the 34th Menri Trizin Lungtok Dawa Dargyal Rinpoche on 3 September 2024.

The ceremony was also attended by Tibetan Parliamentarians Ven. Geshe Monlam Tharchin, Ven. Kunga Sotop, and Ven. Geshe Atong Rinchen Gyaltsen, along with the President of the Ladakh Gonpa Association, and a representative deputising Chief Executive Councillor of the Ladakh Hill Development Council and a Tibetan coordination officer.

Geshe Lungrik Nyima, the abbot of the monastery, delivered an introduction to the monastery for the gathering consisting of distinguished guests and many Bon followers from Ladakh and beyond following the consecration by Menri Trizin Rinpoche.

The gathering was also addressed by the event’s chief guest, Secretary Dhondul Dorjee, and other guests, after which, Menri Trizin Rinpoche bestowed appreciation awards to some attendees.
